    Senfeng vs Gweike Laser

So I was looking to get a new laser with a larger bed, was thinking about ebay but after running some numbers it might not be that much more to get one direct.

    So here are the options

    https://www.gwklaser.com/co2/LC1390N.html
Gweike 1390 80w RECI tube, water cooler, fan, compressor + extra tube, extra power supplier, extra lens. - $4000 FOB China (since i already have containers leaving china monthly, with shipping and duties its about $1200 more so $5200 door to door.

    https://www.sfcnclaser.com/Products/...CuttingEn.html
Senfeng 1390 80w RECI - no extra parts but 1 year warranty from LA warehouse - $6000 shipped to my warehouse.

Does anyone have any experience with either brand. Im leaning more toward gweike because of the motorized Z axis and the extra parts.

I have machines from both and have no complaints about either of them.

    Hi Raymond,

I just recently bought a Senfeng SF1390i, similar to the one you looked at.

When I did my research, I was debating between the SF and one from ACCTEK AKJ1390, but decided with the SF instead because they had a sales guy in California that I could talk to any time during the day. He was helpful in getting the machine order, but afterwards, support of course as been hit and miss.

The machine came packaged pretty good, but there we some things in the machine that I've had to modify to my liking.

    1. Laser alignment was very spot on, I did not have to do any alignment or adjustments there.
    2. There was no upper limit switch on the Z table, so you could run the table all the way up and the only way the machine stopped was when it hit the upper support.
    3. There was no air solenoid for the air assist, which I've since added, this allows you to turn air assist on for full blast or blow at a lower psi for engraving.
    4. The Z table was installed crocked, I have had to disassemble the table, drilled new mounting holes for the bracket and re-positioned it to make it more square to the machine.
    5. Installed an ammeter on the machine, took the end from the tube and ran it to connect to the - side on the ammeter, and ran a new line directly from the meter to the tube, that was I didn't have to splice the wire.

Overall, I think the machine runs great and I've not had any issue with how the machine worked at all.
