    Maple Pedestal Bowl

I know I know....been missing in action. Had some serious health difficulties but trying to get back.
Here's a maple bowl with a little walnut flare to it.
Unfinished at the moment...probably do a satin WOP kind of thing.
10 inches diameter and about 5 inches high.
    The maple is nicely figured.

John, I particularly like that type of rolled edge. Beautiful piece. Do what they tell you to do to get completely well.

  3. That is pretty John. I think you nailed the ogee curve.

John, glad you are back. Very nice design and execution. Now what is the piece darker between that and the natural edge?

i agree with Mel -- beautiful edge, superbly done!
Don't let it bring you down,
    It's only castles burning,
    Just find someone who's turning,
    And you will come around

Thanks everyone. Always nice to be on the Creek.
William...I think you're talking about the ironwood piece. Gonna take a stab at a pedestal lidded vessel on that one. Maybe this weekend
