Most saw enthusiasts know about it, but newer folks may not. There seem to be new names showing up in forums and some of the topics raised are indicative of less experienced tool enthusiasts. A changing of the guard.
That is why I posted it.

I visit it fairly often, and it is a great source of information on the old handsaws that so many of us like. For me, it is nice to know how old the saws that I use are. I have not looked for information on the other brands that I have, but most of mine are Disstons, primarily because there are so many out there.
I suppose there is information on other brands out there as well.
