Amazon smart plugs on different networks

Let’s say that I have two houses miles apart. I want to use amazon smart control lights in both places with a single command. It seems like this would work but I haven’t found anything explicit.

    anybody have experience like this.

So you want to turn on/off the lights at both places at the same time with one command?

Exactly. It appeared to me that I would set up both smart plugs using different networks and passwords and linked to my amazon account. Then it should be simple to group them and apply a command. But I don’t see any examples of anyone doing it.
