    Need an 18mm bore pulley

I need an 18mm bore pulley, about 5" (approx 125mm) OD.

Can't find anything after half an hour of online searching.

Anyone know where I can get one?

    thanks, Mark

Check Surplus Center. They list bushings at 18 mm that can be inserted in a pulley. I used a bushing for my jointer and it works fine.

Use an adjustable reamer to open up the bore of a 5/8 pulley. or much easier to shim down a 7/8 bore. I had to ream the pulley on my mini-mill to fit a new motor shaft size.
A little more money but just get a taper lock pulley with a 18mm center. Browning is one well known brand. A bonus is they grab the shaft much better then any setscrew type and they are also very easy to remove.
The pulley and bushing together is about 50% more cost then a fixed bore pulley would be.
I would suggest searching the pulley diameter by mm.
i have bought used pullies knowing I would have to replace the bushing to get one of the correct bore. I switched out from a 3 phase motor on my rockwell saw. I was able to reuse the pulley with a new bushing from ebay even though the motor and pulley was made sometime before 1962. So the standards have not changed for some makes and sizes.
Lucky the pulley was stamped with Browning's name and taper size, it was I belive a #2b mount.

On edit: use the term "sheave" instead of pulley to see more options.

Buy an unbored one from McMaster-Carr and drill it yourself?

I have a question in to my machinist friend to see if he can help me out on this if I get a pulley with a standard bore.

Thank you all for your helpful suggestions.

Ametric pulley. Metric sized pulleys, I order blank and have bored.
