Ha! She is a very small lady. Rides her dachshunds like a horse!
Yes, rebar was used. Turned out nicer looking than I thought but not sure I’d use again. Might look for some aluminum round stock or something to that affect. The rebar was a bear to clean the rust off and it took considerable time to cut to length, even with a metal chop saw. Not to mention it added a significant amount of weight.
