    Hinges for Frameless Cabinet

I was asked a question about hinges for frameless cabinets recently and didn't know the answer - I don't do much cabinet work.

The person made some frameless cabinets that contain drawers, and the drawers have fronts on them that extend to the sides of the cabinet. The hinges he tried to use won't open the cabinet doors enough to allow the drawers to pull out. He told me that the door stays proud of the opening by about 1/8". There's space between the drawers so the hinges can be mounted where the drawers won't hit them - they just need to pivot the doors fully away from the cabinet opening.

Any suggestions that I can pass along to him? Note that these are frameless cabinets, not face framed.

Sounds as if he needs something like this: https://www.rockler.com/blum-155-zer...SAAEgLYJfD_BwE

Blum has a really helpful brochure showing various options and construction details for its line of concealed hinges here: https://www.blum.com/us/en/products/...nloads-videos/

David best me to it. I’ve used the Blum zero protrusion hinges and they do exactly what you want.
