Powermatic Jointer Model 50

Hello everyone,

Recently picked up a very rusty Powermatic 6" Jointer on Craigslist for $150, cleaned it up and wanted to share with the community. I've been referring to this site off and on over the years and have found great advice and suggestions, so I figured I should join and contribute.

I apologize for not having a great wide shot of the "before" condition; documenting the tear down was sort of an afterthought.

Also wanted to see if anyone out there has tried a Shelix cutterhead with this jointer, as I'm thinking of installing one. Let me know!

Real nice job you did with that jointer. Should be a good machine for you ,hope you enjoy using it as much as you did fixing it up.
