I have one of the Amana profile pro insert shaper heads, and would like to have a set of knives ground to a custom profile.
Does anyone recommend a source for this?

There are a lot of places that can grind those, but lately ive had MT tool out of Baltimore grind knives for me. Really fast turnaround.

Insist on real M2 or something considered above it. Insist on them grinding "5 degrees of side clearance" on all profiles,
without that you will get burn on sides of beads and such after just a little use. Either infraction rules them out forever,
in employments I made sure management understood and did not go cheapest .
Connecticut Saw and Tool.
I have bought several hundred custom profiles from them, and every single one has worked as expected.

Woodworkerstoolworks. Got to tell this again! Ordered something from the guy and had to return it and get something else, from him. Took quite a while! He had moved the business to another STATE. When I spoke to him by phone he told
me his employees were supposed to be crossing out the old return adress and writing in the new one! They do good work and
the money he saves on labels....he passes on to you!
Well I can tell you from very recent experience that Atlantic Carbide does not grind them don't bother trying there.
I'd probably go with CT saw & Tool as Ive used them before for other work and they were good to deal with.
good luck,
JeffD
Thanks for all the suggestions!
