    Mazda flatbed

Right now all my projects are for function not furniture quality, may never get to that level. Still have a lot to learn and more tools to buy.

I recent acquired a 1993 Mazda pickup cheap ( $300 being a mechanic helps). First thing realized is the regular bed had to go. Had to pull the bed to replace fuel tank and pump so it stayed off. The headache rack is the last of the scarlet I had on hand, the bed rollon bedliner. 8 tiedown rings are bolted thru the cross beams. It is 6x8. Added benefits pull the bodies and it part of my redneck workshop.

    Now back to the flatbed.

Hugh, nice work on the flatbed. Now you have a way to haul some hardwood for some beginning furniture projects.

Thank you No where close to furniture yet. Lately the project has been shed to shop. Hauling fresh cut pine (drop, mill, use) from land to house. Next up flooring in this house.
