Thread: Stanley Router Plane

    Stanley Router Plane

I would call this a "User" not a "collector" I've used this to clean up the mortises for many hinges. My wife saw me using it so often, she got me a Lie Nielsen for Father's Day last year, and I thought someone else might want to try it for a reasonable entry fee. The blade can stand a little sharpening, but it worked OK as is for the last oak door I mortised a hinge into. Asking $35 plus shipping.

I have one that came with no guides. I never knew what the holes were for. I did run across guides on the auction site and now I have a complete plane.

If you have one with no guides you can make wooden guides for one.
