    Finish for black walnut

I'm sure this has been a past subject on this forum but the search function didn't yield me the info I was looking for. I have some black walnut with nearly white sapwood that gives a great contrast to the heartwood. I 'typically' finish my bowls with walnut oil but the oil yellows the sapwood fairly significantly. I have little experience with other finishes so I'm looking for advice on a clear finish that would not yellow the sapwood. Thanks

I use Minwax Wipe on Poly on all my turnings and it doesn't turn yellow....

  3. Deft lacquer is crystal clear, as is a water based polyurethane (e.g., Polycrylic). If you want to spray (rattle can), Deft and water based poly are also available. In addition, there's spray acrylic. Those are the ones I'm familiar with.

General Finishes - Wood Turners Finish. Crystal clear, doesn't color wood and dries ultra fast.

The description for Gf, WTF says it leaves a slight amber color?
Also, I am pretty sure Deft lacquer is a NC lacquer which will yellow in time.
