Looking at an older Jet JJ-6CS jointer for $400

Looks to be in decent shape. Would you guys consider that a good buy if in good shape and working? I don't know the age.

Hmm. Just found a much newer Jet JJ-CSXW 40th anniversary edition with the moveable base for $650. Wonder if that is a better deal.

$650 is a lot for a 6” jointer. I’d expect to find an 8” for that.

If he’s asking $400, offer $300 and settle somewhere in the middle.

Would you say the JET JJ-CSX is similar to the Grizzly G0814?

They appear to be very similar.

Imho its worth about $250.

I sold one with a rigid contractor saw for $350 total..
