Not following this thread closely anymore, but if your question is directed to me, the answer is 'no'. DOL is typical 'bang-goes-the-contactor' (or relay, or starter), and motor starts. No soft start, no VFD ramping, or any other gentle electron niceties. And this describes the power delivery to the motor; nothing to do with the control circuit or start logic.

The OP is trying to modify the control circuit to integrate a key-fob operated remote (wireless, but still a manual operation). The schematic in post #10, will (...should?) handle this particular eMylo remote - and still keep his existing start/stop push-buttons. It will still be DOL start.

You could easily drop the eMylo remote, add the contacts from a current sensing switch in the same place (electrically), and truly automate the DC operation. If you want multiple tools/ports to 'auto' start the DC, just add the contacts from additional current switches and/or blast gate limit-switches in parallel. (Yell if you want a schematic of this.)

Unfortunately, as a Member, Thomas likely won't be able to see your schematics.

    ...thought Bill might be interested.
