It is a pleasant day in Galveston County and . .

I have walked Madison our 90 pound black Labrador Retriever and I am not ambitious so I walked into my garage shop and started looking.
    I counted :
    4 tri squares
    4 speed squares
    3 adjustable squares
    16 handsaws
    24 bar clamps
    5 hand screw clamps
    and . . . . ...

You get the picture, I did not list my power tools.

I have a wall rack with dried boards that are various species.

    This is ridiculous,

I'm sure that I am the only old woodworker like this.
SWMBO needs to give me project.

    Lowell,

I would not worry about it. Everyone has to start somewhere. I am certain that sooner or later you will eventually build up to the number of hand tools you would like to have if you keep on the same path.

One key: do you know how many hand saws that you would eventually like to build up too?

    (Just kidding.)

Rarely do we read this sentence here!

Start thinking about something you'd like to make, and make it!

Glad it's good weather in Galveston - enjoy it while it's there!

But when it a swmbo project, everything gets better.

We have lived in this house for over 40 years and also grandchildren live about 3/8 mile away.
Also, when I'm doing a swmbo project, everything is better.

Lowell, your bar clamps sound about right but your hand screw clamps need some work, I have 26.
A steam bent laminated teak project should push you in the right direction!

Just wait. You won't find any of them at the time you need them.

    24 bar clamps
    5 hand screw clamps
It sounds like you are a little short on clamps.
