True Tung oil is not that hard to find. You just rub in, no real excess, leave to dry overnight then repeat. It dries, seals, food safe, won’t yellow much and looks great on walnut. Refresh periodically.

Thanks for your reply William. I used true Tung oil on another project. It looked great on walnut, but for me, it yellowed the maple quite a bit. That’s why I tried some other finishes. I’ll test it again on my next project that uses these two woods.
