    Half-S Workbench

I've been meaning to install the 52-1/2D Record vise (made in England) I restore a while back. I finally made a laminated top using Lowes 2 x 4's (trimmed in walnut). Well it's not real fancy but the vise is installed and I can finally use the vise. It'll do until I can build a MFT style assembly table so I can store all my Festool systainers.

Looks good to me. Like the walnut trim too.

On that 52 1/2 - watch out for racking. I didnt pay enough attention to that when I first bought mine and damaged it. I repaired it, but that wouldnt have been needed if Id been more careful.

That’s a half-s workbench? Be sure to post the full-s when you are done. Can’t wait to see it. Also, I really like the flooring in your shop.

    Thanks for the compliments!
The flooring is a vinyl flooring that simulates the handscraped look. Very easy to clean.
