Gerald,
I have been using the Tome files from Portugal for several years with pleasure while getting quality results and file longevity. For some time the quality of saw files has been steadily going down hill but the Tome files are the best I have found.
Others will undoubtedly have differing opinions - Bill

thanks Bill haven't been happy with Nicholson files for a while now. It took me 2 whole files to sharpen a D7 last night, shouldn't take 2 files to do a little reshaping and sharping a saw. thanks again jerry
I agree with Bill above. Tome Feteira files have been my go-to files for some years now. I have been happy enough with them to have forgone further comparison shopping.
FWIW, I will soon be carrying them on the website as well. I sampled some and they were nice quality. Concerned about how easy it will be to keep them in stock, but will give it a go.
Anxious to use one.

They serve me well.
Thanks for the suggestion- I'm always on the hunt for good saw files and had not heard of these. Pete glad to know I can get them from you.
Cheers. Mike
An initial order is on the way from Portugal. Couple weeks probably. Getting the freight forwarding and customs stuff organized is no small endeavor.
