    Dan and James, Thanks for both posts.

    I hadn’t heard of this German build, but had watched an excellent series about the French castle build. If I remember correctly, the volunteers in France were staying on site in period huts.


    EDIT:
    I have been watching this show from their web page, “Les Feux Des Guedelon” series 2 is about French woodworking at the castle build.

    An interesting watch for anyone interesting in old methods of woodworking.
