50w in route, current customs processing times

    Hey All,

Just bought a new 50w Raycus fiber a few weeks ago and its showing scheduled delivery of Wed. Last laser I purchased was a 30w back in 2015 and I think it was around 10-15 days IIRC.

Anyone import one recently that can let me know how long it took them? also is it best for a DHL agent to call me like I did last time or can I make contact now and get the ball rolling?

    Thx,
    Zach

I'm importing a 700w laser and it's taken me about 10 days since it hit customs. Few more days after that for delivery.

Sounds like about the same, minus the 25% this time.

Did you just wait for the call or had you made contact before the shipment arrived?

I went with a wisely laser. it was shipped through DHL. I bought it through engraving machines plus and they did all the shipping and customs for me. I was just watching the the tracking everywhere it went. also got training and good customer support but it was more money than buying it my self.

Just got the call from DHL today and sent FDA paperwork and Tax documents over, hoping it doesnt take too long to clear. DHL said 24-73)2 hours but FDA can hold for 30 days without notification.. think my last laser was only awaiting FDA for 5 or 6

Forgot to get back on here i have been so busy working on our storefront... laser runs great, haven't really gotten to play with it a whole lot with the remodel and trying to get the shop opened up.

Did take some time on the 4th and make a star wars post though with it though https://www.facebook.com/ROEDefense/videos/894408154235060/
