Ok ok it's not fine woodworking but it was fun

My grandson asked me to build him a birdhouse, so here it is. It's Brazilian white pine ( I think) with a mahogany roof.IMG_20190410_164738.jpgIMG_20190410_164746.jpg

Looks "fine" to me and likely will be perceived the same by the tenants when they move in!

Looks like woodworking to me Dennis! I'll bet your grandson enjoys pa-pa's birdhouse!

Love it ! Whimsy is good for all ages. I learned at an early age that pipe smoking bears in tweed jackets should not be
    feared.

I like it too, and that fireplace will certainly keep the occupants warm in the winter.

It looks very fine from where I set. I would be proud to have it in our yard.

I like it too, it must be the roof details that make the design. I wonder if there is a science behind building bird houses. I know that some species are very particular.
