    "We The People" flag

This is the first project of 2020. Some friends of ours hold a benefit cookoff to raise funds for a Veterans group and I made this wooden flag for them to raffle off.
    It is about 24 x 14 x .75 and made with cherry.

Not sure of the font, not my design and because its individual vectors, a font does not come up when you click on the letters.

Your pockets for the stripes look very smooth; did they come off the CNC that way or did you sand them smooth? What bits, speeds, feeds, etc.?

David, I had to do very little sanding, I used Cherry to make the flag and it really carves well. I used a .125 end mill to carve the pockets for the stripes. The settings were:
    Pass Depth .125
    Stepover .0125 inches
    Feed Rate 200 in/min
    Plunge Rate 120 in/min
