    Long Delay between waterlox coats

After the 24 hour curing period, will a coat of waterlox on top of the cured waterlox coat "bond" with the coat underneath it or is it a separate layer? If it bonds, how long can one wait before the next coat and not have an issue?

If I need to wait some time between coats, do I need to scuff the topcoat before applying another coat of waterlox? This is the original sealer/finish.

    Thanks,
    Mark

for a new used coat I'm not sure. I know that they recommend light sanding for a re-coat and maintenance. so with that being said I'm going with a light sanding with 320 grit.

Mark, there is no need to abrade the between coats of Waterlox OSF for adhesion purposes on new work..

I have attached a link for a handy guide from Waterlox https://www.waterlox.com/project-hel...d19faccfbc8&q=, they used to offer this guide in a pdf, which cannot seem to find..
