I finally had some time to laminate the back rest and finish it after almost 5 months. It's a chair I designed specifically to relax in. You sit in it, lean back, you put your right arm on the rest and your feet on a table. It's very comfortable.

I play guitar. I could see something similar to this for playing. I like to have a back rest so I can "Lean Into It" comfortably.
That's actually not a bad idea. If I bring the seat back a little bit, move the arm rest a bit lower and offer it for right and left handed players it could be a nice guitar playing chair.
Very interesting design, somehow I would find a way to fall off.
Very nice design and comfortable looking. Do you make a left handed version.
Good work Jessica!
Nice project and looks very well done.
An armchair for confined spaces. Reminds some classroom chairs...
That is awesome. Nice work!
What a great chair! And it leaves your left arm free to fend off those trying to steal such a beautiful piece!
Asymmetry is awesome!
A photo from above. Here you really see the asymmetry.
Looks great Jessica, you have a very good eye for design!!
Boldly innovative.

I cringe thinking about the woman hours involved just in preparation to start making this chair.
