Rockler anti-static flex hose worth it?

Is it worth it to pay the extra for the Rocker heavy duty anti-static flex hose? https://www.rockler.com/dust-right-4...acuum-hose-kit

    Thanks!

Seems properly priced compared to other offerings. The question only you can answer is whether static a $100 problem for you. I run 40' of 2-1/2" PVC hose with a wire helix and do not have a static problem. I am in a SoCal desert basin which is not immune to static issues. It is just that the hose laying on the floor somewhere between me and the vac seems to be a sufficient path to ground to eliminate any annoying problems. YMMV.

Perhaps I'm missing it, but I don't see any reference to anti-static properties on the product linked to.

I'm with Jim on this one. No mention of anti-static that I can see. But, I have two of their 12' hoses that are the same material attached together on my shop-vac and have never noticed any static on it. I live in a highly humid area that during the winter can cause static problems. Still no issue with that hose.

In that case it is over-priced ;-)
