    Pine Chester Drawers

    Just old knotty pine...and some 1/4" Luann plywood panels...nutting fahncy..

    Unless you count the brushed nickel drawer handles...stands about 43" tall, 18" deep, 26" wide...
    Corner posts were 2 x 4s cut down to 4/4 x 3" then a few other cuts were made. Top two drawers used 1 x 6 boards ( #3 Pine) the others used 1 x8s

    Someday, I might get the hang of dovetailing drawers..

    steven, it looks nicely constructed and homey. I love the honey color. What did you use ?

    Looks good. I like the panels on the sides. I am also curious about the finish. it looks really warm.

    Mainly a Minwax stain called "Puritan Pine" with the second coat of stain having a drizzle of dark Walnut stain mixed in.....then the poly over that...

    Grandson hauled the chester drawers upstairs last week....has since been filled with work clothes by my son.....seems to have been a hit...
