    Athol vise

I have this vise from the Athol Manufacturing Co. I believe its 1920's or older because it has the old name on it. I have researched this vise but have been unable to find out much about it. I may be missing a number where the ID is. This vise had been repaired years before I acquired it. Anybody able to shed more light on this vise? Also, I was wondering the best way to clean up the lettering. A lot of hard junk in them that is not coming out easily. Maybe a dremmel might work for getting in the small holes. My little pick tools are having no effect. It appears that the jaws teeth ( if I stated that properly) are not removable. No screws found after cleaning. I am going to take apart clean and regrease.
I've attached some pics to help.
