Nice looking work. Is the build for you or a commision? Oh BTW, you are too neet , you should see my shop at this stage of a build.

Good looking desk. Do your clamps have any camber in the cauls? Is the desk your own design?

Nice Pennsylvania wagon in the background.
Thanks Warren, a keen eye. That wagon is about 24 years old. It is a "Speedway Express" from Lancaster PA. What a wagon - I have had great use of it over the years. My son broke his femur at 1 year of age, and he had a body cast on. We went shopping for a wagon to pull him around in, and he could not fit him in the standard Toys r Us wagon. We tracked this one down. We lived in Lancaster for many years, and I visited the small factory where it is made. I try to use hand tools as much as I can, and enjoyed using this panel gauge this afternoon.panel gauge.jpg
Completed today, slant top one piece, face jointed, edge jointed and thicknessed planed with scrub and jack planes. Apron ornamentation cut with coping saw. IMG_7703.jpgdesk open.jpgIMG_7698.jpgIMG_7699.jpg
Very nice.

Spectacular. I find the shape of the legs extraordinarily pleasing.
