    Delta Miter Saw

I have an older Delta Miter Saw that I have broken the Threaded Handle that holds the angle

    ebay.com/i/323623768981?chn=ps

I could go buy one but.....thinking it couldn't be that hard to make one that would be better that a plastic one.
Has anyone ever made one ?

I'v got a couple ideas but asking for any ideas you guys might have.
    Suggestions ?
    Thanks

Making something like this wouldn't be all that difficult if you want to turn a nice handle...you just need to be sure to match the threading for the, um...threaded part. I'd suggest a metal washer be glued to any handle to provide a durable surface that grips the machine when things are tightened.
