    Blanket Chest part IV

I pegged the breadboard ends with a glued peg (3/16" ? 1/4" ?) in the center mortise and loose pegs in the end mortises. A drop or two of glue was added to hold the tops of the pegs to the upper surface of the breadboard end to prevent them from falling out some day. I did not feel that I need to drawbore the pegs as I had a good fit up as it was.

    David,

Thanks for the tick tock of the build. I'm in the short rows of a desk build for MsBubba and you have reminded me there have been no build photos. Oh well maybe next time.

The tick tock is more difficult to do than expected, isn't it? After trying to do mine, I realized that I left a lot out. I thought I had taken some photos of the whole box glue up, but couldn't find any. I should have taken photos of the ledger board build and install, as it was most likely the only thing of any interest in the whole project for anyone contemplating building something similar and wondering about the floor details. Thanks for the look-see ken.
    David
