    Blanket Chest part II

I chopped 1/4" mortises in the corner posts, and the upper/lower stretchers, then sawed/fitted the tenons on the stretcher and intermediate stile ends. After finishing up the joinery work, I plowed some 1/4" grooves for the panels in the posts and intermediate stiles. I re sawed (BS, not even by hand) some stock into 1/4" panel material for glue up and sizing. I find that waxing the ends of my mortise chisel and plow plane help quite a bit. I have a lump of wax for the chisels but I used Johnson's for the plow. After the frame and panel work was completed, I worked on a top glue up with cauls and clamps.
