What would You Want to See?

There is a Lie Nielsen Tool Event coming soon to my area. The wife has agreed to accompany me and then spend the rest of the day in hanging out in Portland.

If you were going to go to a Tool Event in your area what would want to see or evaluate?

Glenn Drake and Blue Spruce will also be set up to show their wares.

I'd like to see that I left my credit card at home!

I'd actually enjoy seeing their benches in person and seeing their vise hardware in action.

    Enjoy!

Don’t know if Steve Voigt will be there, but I would love to try one of his planes and see how it compares to my antique wooden double iron planes. People who know more than I do have commented favorably on them, but I would like to get my own hands on one for a test drive.

As I am in the middle of downsizing, I might stay away.

    OK, who is kidding who?

I’m considering a panel saw for breaking down lumber at the bench. I’d like to try one. I’d like to try a skew bock plane too. Maybe a #3 in bronze too.

    Maybe I’ll stay away.

I'd like to try their #2 and #4 planes, just to compare against my vintage Stanleys.
I'd like to try some Blue Spruce paring chisels.
    Sigh.
