Thread: Made a staircase.

    Made a staircase.

Installed it this week at a dentists office. She wanted an open design with clean lines to keep it spacious. I'm happy with how it turned out. The railing is made with stainless steel bars.

  3. Fantastic! Building and installing a staircase like that involves a huge amount of skill, patience, talent, experience, and thought. Very well done and an inspiration.

A beautiful, clean design. I too would like to know what wood you used.

That's why I enlisted my dad to help me. He's made hundreds of staircases and is an expert at it.

I try to be. I don't want to have to shut down my company for lack of work

According to my supplier it's American Elm. I've never worked with it before but I really like it. It's lightly stained to make the make the wood grain pop.
