    Nova Voyager DVR drill press

    I’ve been wanting to upgrade my Jet 15” drill press for some time now and the Nova Voyager seemed to have excellent feedback from creekers so I scored one this weekend. So far I’m very impressed with it. I haven’t played with it much but I did measure the runout with a 3/8” transfer punch in the chuck and it was almost dead perfect with the quill all the way up and about 0.001” with the quill extended to a full 6”.

    I appreciate all the feedback here about this drill press to help guide my purchase.

    Oh, and I love how easily the chuck spins by hand!

    There is at least one lengthy thread, if not multiples, that detail folks' thoughts on this tool...pretty much positive.
