    A desk for a Grandaughter

Started out as a computer desk...kind of evolved into a drawing desk..

Her family tends to like a dark stain on the woodwork...this is mainly out of Ash.

A dark walnut stain was brushed on, then wiped back off...followed by a coat of clear gloss poly

Fun was getting the meeting angles just right...came close

Has places for pens/pencils to reside in, and a couple small drawers.

She already has a chair for this....height was set so she could sit down at this desk.

There is a build-along thread up in the Neanderthal section..

Nice. Like the set back of the desk top, strong lean verticality, and originality.

Well done Steve. Now take a few days off as temperatures dip below zero. That poorly heated basement is not the place to be for a few days.
