    sanding belts for Kundig Uniq

    i need belts for my Kundig. do you guys have a preferred vendor and belt type (cloth/paper)? thanks!

    I switched to paper recently against the advice that cloth does not tear as easily as paper. I have yet to tear the paper. Just keep your supplies fresh.

    bill, have you found that the belts from IA have a flat enough seam? they quoted me $10 each for cloth backed, Al2O3.

    I don't notice the seam with the stroke sander and the edge sander.

    The reason I went with paper is for cost and, more importantly in a stroke sander, is to be able to control the belt cupping across the width.
