Actual question I was asked on a job interview. I passed.
Depends on where you have the timing set, because technically the power stroke would start at ignition, which starts advanced of TDC based on how far advanced the timing is set.

    Weird.

I'm trying to decide my next beater car. Currently have a wrx, in not sure what to replace it with.

I really want the RS6 Avante when they bring them here, but u think they'll be too far out of my budget. Was kicking around a used gtr, but I think the upkeep is going to kill me. Seriously considering a CTSV wagon

If you want to include those kind of cylinders then I’m sure a lot of folks here will run into several hundreds. ;-)

You could probably double that figure if you counted all the hydraulic cylinders on your equipment list.

Counting hydraulic cylinders I'm probably somewhere near 40

    Chevy Truck 8
    Chrysler PT Cruiser 4
    4 Air Compressors = 6
Lawn & Garden Equipment including snow blowers & chainsaws 12
    Hydraulic jacks & lifting/pressing equipment 10
