    Band Saw Clearance plate

I own a Shop Fox W1706 14" Band Saw has anyone had luck using another make clearance plate. The reason I'm asking is because Shop Fox is a pain in the but to deal with. Surely their is another Band Saw clearance plate that will work
    Thanks

I've made my own out of 6061 aluminum. I actually turned it round on my wood lathe and then took it over to the scroll saw to make the opening. It's a pretty easy job.

(I have a different saw) I also usually make my own, from thin baltic birch plywood, plastic, or aluminum, turning them round the same way on the lathe. However, I bought some recently from Klingspor which had some to fit my saw. The aluminum one fits fine but some plastic zero clearance inserts I bought required some work to make them fit properly.
