    A gift of twins

First time I have ever owned a spanking new handsaw. Joinery saws yes handsaws always used. Panel saw size 22”. 4 1/2 rip 8 CC. A gift from my wife.

I assume you have saw sets, files , and saw vice to tune them up.

I went through that 20 years ago.

    If not, happy shopping.

You know that sound Homer Simpson makes when he sees a donut? I’m making that sound now.

A new saw is something to enjoy.

Let the wife know you want to keep her.

I am one of the lucky people that was well schooled on maintaining before I owned my own tools. I can also thank people like Ron Bontz and others here that walked me thru retoothing a saw from the straight edge.

They are Lynx brand. Same company not the fancier handle and the breasted tooth line. I don't know if the steel is the same. They claim hand sharpened and look so. The handles or totes if you prefer are not great but OK. The proof will be in the cutting.
