    I won a Kiyotada usunomi.

    I finally have one coming my way. I've heard so many good things about the brand. I was told the blacksmith, Shimamura-san, was considered by many to be the finest blacksmith of his day and possibly of all times. The ura is a bit wonky but I'm having it shipped to my dad's old co-worker because he says a blacksmith can easily re-shape it.

    I’m no expert but it does not look that wonky, It could be many years to get to the wonky bit! If the Japanese blacksmith is that good, even his ‘seconds’ must be usable 🙂.
