    Bosch PS10-2A 1/4" I-Driver 10.8v

    Hello....

I've had this Bosch screwdriver for a long time and just love it. It finally
quit working, especially doesn't do reverse anymore thus cannot remove screws.

Made attempts to have it repaired through online but it seems nobody has any repair facility in having it refurbished. Parts are available but don't know what is missing or doesn't work.

Can you guys/gals direct me to someone that can refurbish it?

    Thank you

I've found someone that might repair said item at: customerservice@ereplacementparts.com/ Will see what they can do it.

I think you'll find the economics not worth it.

    You're going to need a control box ($50 )

    -or- gear assembly ( $ 80 )

-or- both, and then you're going to pay labor on top of that.

Then the rest of the tool will still be 10 years old. You can usually pick up an entire kit with new 2.0Ah batteries for around $125, less on ebay. And a bare tool is usually around $75. I've seen those for around $40-$50 in good condition on ebay.

Bosch does have service centers, I bought a couple Bosch refurbs at one. But yeah, the economics of repair vs. replace.
