Very nice John. I too am partial to the muffin shape, but the hour glass shape is beautiful too. I have started doing a few of these myself. Makes for great practice, without putting a large piece at risk of disaster.

Those are so neat! I love them all.
Wally World for some of those confetti lamps
Please someone tell me more, where in the store do I get them and what is a part number or sku number so I get the right ones. I want to try some...
Thanks, Ed. From what I've been hearing, pricing on these little things is all over the place from one Walmart to the next. I found mine over by where they keep their craft supplies. Candles, other oil-burning lamps and such. I forget now exactly what I paid for them but, I'm pretty sure they were somewhere between 50 and 70 cents a piece or thereabouts. Way less than a buck, I know that.Originally Posted by Ed Lang

Looking good John!!!
I also want to say those look very nice.
Also ... I found those confetti-like lamps at the local Michaels craft store.
They're a wee bit fatter (and non-refillable) than the 1.5" dia, glass refillable ones.
I also have a question:
-- Are you turning them so the lamp gets inserted from beneath?

I'm getting better -- my mistakes are much more amazing!
Thanks, Joe! Apparently, your craft stores do better than our do around here! I looked at three rather large suppliers, none of whom carries these or the refillable ones! Who'd a' thunk that Wally World would come through? (Thanks Dick!) (Not sure if you caught it, but I also found identical ones at Walgreen's.)Originally Posted by Joe Judge
Anyhow, no these pop right in from the top. I usually make the hole just a tad on the light side to compensate for a bit of deviation from the manufacturer, just in case they get a bit wide, but not so loose that they're rattling around in the opening. Thanks again!

After I get my first chuck, I will have to see about making some of those. Very nice work John, I could almost eat that muffin lol.
