    Round cherry table

    I made this base about two years ago, and just got around to making the top.

    Very nice, the cherry will improve with age as it darkens..

    Thanks, I'm relatively happy with how it came out. The thumbnail edge profile wasnt working initally. I reworked it a couple times.

    I managed to stop from using a dye stain or toner on it. Hopefully it darkens a good bit. The top is virginia cherry, which seems to stay lighter than PA cherry. Time will tell.

    Its just precat lacquer (lenmar ultralaq) in a low (dull rubbed) sheen

    Cherry up here in Ontario is a good bit darker.
