I've got a small amount of nice cherry and walnut (maybe 200 bf) that's been infested with powderpost beetles. I can't tell if they are active or not, the wood was stored in a barn for 15-20 years before I got it. Anyone in the MA/NH/RI area have a kiln that could be used to heat treat the wood? I'd hate to throw it away.

Alternately I could treat it with BoraCare and watch it for a couple of years-- anyone have experience with that?

Thanks!
