    Yay!!

    im glad you have a plan. Still, it seems weird that the motor would be so hard to replace. I was going to suggest renting one of those engine hoists and using the lift rods.

    Montgomery Ward hand saw
    Wood handled [cracked] screw driver
    [2 ]4 year old sheets of 60 grit aluminum oxide sandpaper

    Phil,

    Thank you for the advice to involve my Woodcraft dealer. I was in daily contact with my local Woodcraft manager and he was working with Powermatic behind the scenes providing input and helping formulate a joint Powermatic / Woodcraft solution.
