    Forestry trailer- new toy

I cut a lot of my own lumber and really enjoy it, but handling logs with the loader of the tractor gets old, so I got a new toy - er....useful piece of equipment.

No idea why they're upside down.

Used it to salvage a big hemlock down in the bottom of a hill and collected some footage: https://youtu.be/9UK5AJaLdI0

Looks like a fun piece of equipment. Would you like to share the details?

Sure! Most of what it can do is in the video with the exception of the dump trailer that sits on the back in place of the stake pockets and the hoe that mounts on the boom in place of the grapple. I don't have those set up yet.

Let me know what details you're interested in!

It will become part of a timberframed building to house the Anderson machine.

You definitely don't want the sun to hit that wood. The surface will be full of tiny cracks in hours.

Yup! Absolutely....it was all covered up 30 mins after the pics were taken. Ends sealed with anchor seal as soon as the logs were cut too.
