That's beautiful Allan! Terrific design and shape and contrasting woods which makes the design really pop. I hope to try segmented turnings at some point. Love your work!!
In the meantime, I'm starting to try my hand (and patience) at basket illusion platters.

Robert, I do not try to track the time, but there were many hours involved in its construction. A few more toggle clamps would speed things up.
