Using Waterlox to finish a cherry slab table top. The bark is still attached. Any ideas how the finish might build in the nooks and crannies of the bark where excess may be difficult to remove? Thanks!

Rustic? Well, no. That was not my intention!
I have done this. You have to dab it in with a brush.
YMMV, but the edge of a table will take a lot abuse. Will the bark remain durable and will it feel ok under the users' elbow?
First coat is on and it looks great. Thanks, Prashun!
The slab will be an entry way table top so it should not be see daily use. I am also curious about how the bark behaves over time. Do you have experience with dining or kitchen tables with bark on?
