    Walnut step ladder

SWAMBO uses a tipsy bar stool to reach the top cabinets in the kitchen. I made her a step ladder. Please excuse the "shop" quality picture.stepladder.jpg

Nice. Your own design or from plans?
I have a vertically challenged wife too. I don't complain when she asks me to get the top shelf stuff because it means she is baking.

This is a really cool project... It's not something that I would have ever thought of building in wood, but I have to admit that it looks great and has me thinking about making a copy .

We live in a 102 year old farm house full of my primitive and shaker inspired furniture. A metal commercial step ladder would not work for us. Plus it is a cool project. Thanks.
Ask a woodworker to "make your bed" and he/she makes a bed.

The things woodworkers do to entertain themselves. Great job.

I like "library" ladders, that will always be welcome in any room.
