    New saw found

I just picked this saw up for 3dollars. One to find out it's a Diston. Measures 18" long, filed rip. It cuts well without touching the teeth yet.
Can anyone identify a specific model from the etching?
Never mind the I.d.help. The pictures won't show enough detail.

    Inside the keystone..there is a large capital "D"....look inside the D,,,looks like either a #21...or a #23?

After about 1928, or so..Disston took the number out of the D then most saws started as a "D-8" and the like...

    Thanks, Steve.
The Digging around the Disston archives, it appears to be a D8. Much easier to tell with an image to compare to.
